The “Stolitsa” Corporation was established in November 2004 on the basis of two joint stock companies – close company “Kievmiskbud-1” and close company “Trest Kievmiskbud”, that operated at the market for more then 10 years and were acting as customers. The Corporation comprises of around 30 organizations, which perform all the complex of services from design project to submitting the apartments to the investor. Delegating different works to its participants, the Corporation obtains the possibility to control the quality of them from the very beginning till the end.

The “Stolitsa” Corporation is the main developer of the Obolon district (micro-district 3-a, micro-district 3-b, “The Passage”), where it succeded to implement the idea of complex development with the single architectural ensemble and infrastructure. For the construction of the micro-district 3-b the Corporation was awarded with the State Award in Architecture.

This year is going to be completed the construction of the micro-district 3-b, where 383,6 square meters of housing were built and 3500 of apartments were leased to the investors. Within the territory of the micro-district were built 3 kindergartens for 120 places each, 5 underground parking lots for 1553 car/place, cultural building “Khram” with the total area of 787,3 square meters, hotel with total area of 4639,2 square meters. Actively continues the construction of the biggest in Ukraine commercial and entertainment center of total area of 160 square meters, situated between two metro stops in the Obolon district. The construction of several business centers is in progress.

According to the results of ranking of the “Investgazeta” (the most unprejudiced ranking in Ukraine), the “Stolitsa” Corporation is one of the top three big construction companies of Ukraine.

For the time of the presence at the Ukrainian market, the participants of the “Stolitsa” Corporation have built the objects with the general area of one million square meters. Operating at the building market, the Corporation offers to the investors not only new accommodation objects, it offers new way of life. In fact, the Corporation constructs not only the separated houses, but the entire micro-districts with all necessary infrastructure: commercial centers, kindergartens, entertainments centers, schools, hospitals, hotels, recreational parks, aqua parks, sport complexes and parking lots. Also, the corporation offers to the investors office areas at the first and second floors of the residential houses. In other words, creates all conditions for people to get the maximum of service at the place of living.

Very important achievement of the Corporation is the obtained award “European Quality”, that was granted in Oxford (the Great Britain) for the new contemporary quality of housing, offered to the people of Ukraine. That award confirms that the company is building really qualitive housing and offers to its customers the new European way of life.

In the end of the 2007 in Vienna the Corporation and its President, Valentyn Isak, was granted one more award – “The Best European Enterprise”.

The practice of building housing for allocated funds the Corporation also applies in the other regions of Ukraine. The biggest objects of the Corporation at the moment are micro-district “Leski-2” in Mykolayiv (the total area is 54 hectares), micro-district “Ozerniy” in kremenchug (89 hectares), “Korabel-2” in Kherson (25 hectares).

Also the Corporation is constructing in Chenihiv, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa, Obykhiv, Vyshnevy, Sudak, Vasylkiv, Bucha.

All the projects of the Corporation in regions of Ukraine are stimulating the economy growth of the region and provide new working places. That all brings to the development of the new concept of housing in Ukraine and higher level of living standards.
